This position is not remote, it does require to office from our home office location in Franktown, CO (located between Parker and Castle Rock).

What we are looking for from you:

• Act as backup to Payroll Manager on all payroll processing tasks (in the event of absence, overflow, etc.)
• Monitor and oversee administration of Time and Attendance System to ensure clocking errors are resolved daily
• Assist with adjustments for inaccurately processed payroll and Special Project payroll
• Complete various employee-related scheduled and ad hoc data reconciliation processes
• Conduct regularly scheduled audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy
• Support Payroll Manager and team to ultimately deliver on all objectives and tasks as needed
• Review and maintain confidentiality of corporate level payroll and HR issues
• Work on various projects with our 3^rd party PEO provider
• Manages daily mail, intaking and delivering incoming and managing all outgoing
• Ensures payroll issues are escalated and resolved promptly
• Consistent and sustained adherence to Monarch Professional Behavioral Standards

 The ideal applicant will have:

• 2  years’ experience in accounting, payroll processing, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; specifically excel skills such as VLOOKUP, formulas, tables, and ranges
• FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) would be a plus
